Simon Cleary is the Director of Teaching and Learning and Director of the Foundation Programme at Euro University of Bahrain. He has over 20 years of experience working in international education settings. He has worked at several universities in the UK as well as having worked in Portugal, Mexico, Saudi Arabia, UAE and Bahrain. Simon has been a Director and Principal of international colleges at the University of Surrey, the University of Bangor and the University of Greenwich. He has established two of these international colleges as well as one at Royal Holloway University of London. Simon holds qualifications from the Institute of Education (NPQH), the University of Manchester (TESOL), King’s College London (Applied Linguistics) and Anglia Ruskin (MBA Education Leadership). Simon is a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (SFHEA).
Simon Cleary has extensive professional experience in educational leadership, particularly within international education. He also has extensive teaching experience, primarily in English as a Second Language (ESOL) and English for Academic Purposes (EAP), spanning various institutions globally.
